Arrive at Sydney Airport, where you will be greeted by your local Tour Manager and Driver and transferred to your hotel for check-in and some time to relax.  In the evening, join Nick for a welcome aperitif at the hotel’s stylish Fox Bar.  Raise your glass to the journey ahead as you enjoy a lively mix of introductions and conversation that sets the tone for a week filled with wine, discovery and unforgettable experiences.  The remainder of the evening is yours to enjoy at leisure.

 

Day 2 – March 16, 2026
Sydney Sights & Welcome Dinner

After breakfast, meet your Tour Manager to begin a guided sightseeing tour of Sydney.  Highlights include The Rocks, the Royal Botanical Gardens, Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair with views of the Opera House, Darling Harbor, Chinatown, and scenic coastal suburbs like Rose Bay and Watsons Bay.  Enjoy a brief stop at Bondi Beach before returning to the hotel.  The afternoon is at leisure.

This evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at O Bar and Dining, a revolving restaurant with sweeping city views from the 47th floor.  Savor a seasonal three-course menu crafted by Chef Michael Moore. Day 3 – March 17, 2026

This morning, depart Sydney on a short flight to Hobart, Tasmania — a charming blend of colonial heritage and modern culture nestled between the river Derwent and Mount Wellington.  Upon arrival, meet your private driver and head to the historic village of Richmond, followed by wine tastings and a relaxed lunch at top local wineries, Stefano Lubiano and Pressing Matters.  Enjoy a casual Q&A with Nick on Tasmanian wines, uncovering the quirks of Australian terroir, sharing vineyard secrets, and trading favorite wine stories.

This evening, experience an exclusive after-hours visit to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary to meet Tasmanian devils, wombats, and more.  Return to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.

 

Day 4 – March 18, 2026

This morning, you may choose to visit the iconic Salamanca market before walking to the ferry terminal for a fast ferry to MONA, the Museum of Old and New Art, Australia’s largest private museum.  Enjoy striking views, creatively designed ferry seating, and a memorable climb up 99 steps to the museum’s entrance.  Explore MONA’s bold exhibits and scenic grounds before meeting for a two-course lunch at Source Restaurant, paired with Moorilla wines.

During lunch, Nick will present his fun Winemaking 101: From Vineyard to Bottle

Meet your host this morning for a locally guided walking tour through Hobart’s historic backstreets, waterfront, and Battery Point.  Learn about the city’s rich heritage and emerging culinary scene, with a stop for a coffee and a pastry at a favorite local bakery.
