Chuck and I would love to have you join us on this experience of a lifetime visit to Switzerland and Italy. I am extremely excited about this trip as my great-grandparents were from the Lugano area of Switzerland.
When I was just 14, I was fortunate enough to travel with my family to Switzerland to visit my grandma’s relatives. My grandma was so excited to make the trip! When we arrived at her relative’s home, she jumped out of the car and greeted her family using the Italian-Swiss dialect, which I never previously heard her speak.
Wonderful memories were made on this vacation. We are looking forward to creating new memories as we visit this enchanting and beautiful country again. The itinerary through Switzerland and Italy is packed with adventure and beautiful stops—please take a look! Hope you can join us.

Available Packages
After a private transfer picks you up from the Geneva airport, you will be taken to Montreauxl, a lively lakeside city surrounded by vineyards, that offers the perfect blend of culture, nature, and gastronomy. Check-in to the Royal Plaza Montreaux* or similar, a charming lakefront hotel with a traditional atmosphere and views over Lake Geneva. Tonight, there will be a welcome dinner at the hotel with drinks included.
Start your day with breakfast then we will depart from Lausanne to the Chasselas area for a visit and tasting at the acclaimed winery Domaine Louis Bovard, a historic winery overlooking Lake Geneva, renowned for its exceptional Chasselas and centuries-old winemaking tradition. Tour of the vineyards and cellar, followed by a tasting of wines paired with artisanal cheeses, cured meats, fresh bread, and seasonal accompaniments. We will follow this by lunch at the Domaine or a nearby restaurant (Drinks included). After lunch, we will have free time to visit the town of Lausanne. Afterwards, return to the hotel and have dinner on your own.
You will check-out after breakfast and we will head to Lake Maggiore. We will have an early check in at the 4-star Hotel La Palma 4*, a refined hotel with modern style. This afternoon, we will have a private half-day tour to the Borromean Islands. Here we will visit Isola dei Pescatori, a lakeside village that has preserved its authentic charm, and have lunch on Isola dei Pescatori. Next, we will visit Isola Bella, featuring the magnificent Borromeo Palace and its Italian-style gardens. Then, visit to Isola Madre, renowned for its rare botanical species and exotic atmosphere. With each island being more beautiful than the next, you won’t want to forget your camera today. After all the island visits, you will return to your hotel and dinner is at your leisure.
Depart from Stresa to the Canton of Ticino. Here will we have a visit and tasting at the scenic Castello di Morcote, nestled among vineyards with lake views. Tour of the vineyards, castle, and cellar, followed by a tasting of 6 premium wines (“Riserva” and “Fuoco” line) with local cured meats, cheeses, and fresh bread. We will have a group lunch (drinks included) at the elegant Ristorante Vicania, located in a charming village 10 minutes away, surrounded by woods. This afternoon you will have free time in Lugano, featuring flower-filled lakefront promenades, elegant squares, and contemporary art galleries. Afterwards, you will return to your hotel and have dinner on own.
Today we will make our way to Italy to enjoy a guided visit to Azienda Agricola Rovasenda, set in the heart of the Piedmont countryside. Meet rice producers and discover agricultural traditions passed down through generations & tasting of typical products. Farmhouse light-lunch with typical dishes (drinks included). In the afternoon, we will visit the historic Tenute Sella, one of the oldest wineries in the region. The experience includes a tour and tasting of 6 wines, paired with local cured meats and cheeses. Afterwards, we will continue on to Lake Garda. Upon arrival, check-in to your 4-star hotel in Desenzano del Garda, Hotel Villa Rosa, a refined and modern lakefront hotel. Dinner will be on own.
After days of looking at the beautiful lakes, today we get to go on it! We will go on a private boat tour on Lake Garda and stop at private Isola del Garda: guided visit of one of Italy’s most scenic noble estates, surrounded by English-style gardens and fragrant rose gardens. Enjoy an aperitif on the panoramic terrace overlooking the lake. Visit Sirmione, the “pearl of the lake” and stroll through its charming streets with views of castles and Roman thermal ruins. Together, we will enjoy lunch by the lake in Sirmione (drinks included). After lunch, we’ll continue sailing to Bardolino, with a short stop for a free visit, then return to the departure port and hotel. Again, dinner is on your own or at your leisure.
Today we will start with a visit to Limone sul Garda, a picturesque village perched above the water, famous for its unique microclimate and lemon cultivation. Visit and tasting at Limonaia Malora, where citrus fruits and olive trees are still growing by using traditional methods. Tour of the lemon grove and tasting of fresh lemonade, limoncello, and local olive oil. Afterwards, we’ll have a light lunch in the Limonaia with cured meats, cheeses, and drinks. This afternoon, we will visit Salò, an elegant town with a beautiful view on the Gulf, with nice boutiques and bars. We will bring you back to the hotel and dinner is on your own.
Breakfast and departure from the hotel to Tirano, then a full day dedicated to the Bernina Express, a UNESCO-listed panoramic train ride. Spectacular route through snowy Alps, glacial lakes, breathtaking bridges, and scenic hairpin bends. You will then have time for an independent lunch in St. Moritz, a luxury alpine resort town in Switzerland’s Engadin valley. After we return to the hotel, we will have a group dinner with drinks included.
Today, we are off to Iseo (Franciacorta area) with morning free time to visit the Iseo Village. After exploring this beautiful village, we will depart for the Franciacorta wine cellar. We will have a guided tour and tasting at the prestigious Antica Fratta winery, featuring historic wine cellars and exclusive bottles. Tasting of 3 glasses of Millesimati & Riserva paired with a light lunch of three gourmet proposals. Next, we’re off to the DiPaglia.DiFrolla Country House where you will have a gourmet experience: Creative pastry class + tasting of 2 signature whiskies paired with the pastries created. Led by the renowned “Architect of Taste”, Davide Merigo. Return to the hotel for your last night and a farewell Aperitivo at the hotel. After, dinner is on your own or you are welcome to explore or pack on your last night of the tour.
Unfortunately, today is your last day. After breakfast, we will arrange group transfers to the Milano Malpensa Airport where you can continue your travels or head home.
