Day 1 to Day 10

From the cosmopolitan energy of Santiago to the windswept beauty of southern Patagonia, this trip blends unforgettable natural scenery into a seamless, thoughtfully curated experience. Designed for travelers who appreciate both adventure and indulgence, this trip offers an intimate look at a lesser-known wine region while delivering the comfort of a premium experience. It is a journey not only across geography, but across culture, climate, and craft — a true exploration of wine at the edge of the world.

A message from your host:

I’ve been lucky enough to travel to some extraordinary places, but Chile and Patagonia feel different; the kind of places that get under your skin before you’ve even arrived. This journey is about more than checking destinations off a list; it’s about standing in front of landscapes that make you feel small in the best way, sharing incredible food and wine that come straight from the soul of the region, and giving yourself the gift of time to really be there. I’m partnering with Wine Lovers Travel to experience this with a small group, and I already know it’s the kind of trip that stays with you long after the suitcases are unpacked. If you’ve been waiting for a trip that feels meaningful, not just memorable, this might be it.

Cheers,
Debbie

Arrival at Torres del Paine’s Airport and transfer to your 5* hotel, The Singular Patagonia. Lunch with wine is included, then tonight, meet with the group for an arrival celebration with dinner in the hotel.

An optional fly fishing excursion will be offered as an add-on.

Day 2- March 18, 2027

Balmaceda & Serrano River

Today, after breakfast at the hotel, we’re off to The Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers. They are located within the largest national park in Chile and one of the most remote protected areas in South America. Reached only by boat, this navigation reveals the raw essence of Chilean Patagonia. The Serrano Glacier opens into a vast glacial amphitheater surrounded by mountains and ice. Floating icebergs drift across the water, reflecting the ever-changing Patagonian light. This shared navigation offers a profound sense of scale, silence, and isolation, and is considered one of the most iconic natural experiences in southern Chile. We will stop for lunch during our exploring and dinner will be hosted at the hotel again. Private transfer and guide provided throughout the day.

Day 3: March 19, 2027
Torres del Paine

Torres del Paine National Park is considered one of the crown jewels of Chilean Patagonia and one of the most spectacular protected areas in the world. Declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the park is defined by its dramatic granite towers, turquoise lakes, vast pampas, and glacial valleys shaped over millennia by ice and wind. During your private full-day exploration, you have the opportunity to encounter iconic viewpoints, cascading waterfalls, and abundant wildlife such as guanacos, foxes, and condors. The experience is complemented by a shared navigation on Lake Grey, where floating icebergs drift silently across steel-blue waters. The Grey Glacier, part of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, rises dramatically at the lake’s edge, offering a powerful close-up view of one of the largest ice masses outside the polar regions.

Day 4: March 20, 2027
Estancia Cerro Pinto

For our last day in Patagonia, it’s time to slow it down and learn about the locals with an authentic private visit to Estancia Cerro Pinto, where we will get an inside look into Patagonian ranching traditions. Together, we will enjoy a traditional Cordero al Palo lunch and unwind and uncork with our last dinner at the hotel.

Day 5: March 21, 2027
Santiago de Chile

After breakfast we will check out of our hotel and say goodbye to Patagonia. We will take an internal flight from Puerto Natales to Santiago. Once we arrive at Santiago de Chile’s Airport, we will transfer you to your next home, Casa Real, a boutique and refined 5* wine hotel in the countryside just outside of Santiago. This beautiful 19th-century manor with only 16 rooms not only has a winery onsite, but also a fabulous restaurant, “Doña Paula”, that we will dine at together for lunch and dinner, with a wine tasting in-between.

Day 6: March 22, 2027
Maipo Valley | Santiago

The Maipo Valley is the historic heart of Chilean winemaking and the birthplace of its most prestigious Cabernet Sauvignon. Influenced by the Andes Mountains and cooled by Pacific breezes, the valley’s Mediterranean climate and alluvial soils have attracted winemakers since the 19th century.

Many of Chile’s most iconic wineries were founded here, blending European heritage with New World innovation. Private tastings in Maipo offer not only exceptional wines but also insight into the cultural and agricultural history that shaped Chile as a modern wine-producing country.

Private visits include Don Melchor Collector’s Experience at Concha y Toro, Piedra Seca Brunch at Perez Cruz, and Albis Private Experience at Haras de Pirque.

We will then head back to the city and check-in to our next hotel, The Singular Santiago, for two nights. After settling in, we will have a group dinner at Ambrosia.

Day 7: March 23, 2027
Santiago: Gin & Foodie Day

Head into the city for a private tour of Santiago, starting at Factoria Franklin, a gin distillery that is a meeting point for artists with a vision of transformation within a vibrant neighborhood. Afterwards, we will get the foodie experience with Matías Palomo, exploring Santiago’s culinary evolution. Chilean gastronomy is deeply connected to territory, seasonality, and local ingredients, drawing influence from indigenous traditions, Spanish heritage, and the country’s extraordinary geographic diversity.

Chef Matías Palomo is recognized for his contemporary interpretation of Chilean cuisine, focusing on fresh market ingredients, coastal products, and traditional recipes reimagined with modern technique. His private foodie experience offers insider access to Santiago’s culinary scene, local markets, and the evolving identity of Chilean food.

Day 8: March 24, 2027
Colchagua Valley – VIK

Today we leave Santiago and head to the Colchagua Valley. The Colchagua Valley is a quintessential wine region, famous for its Cabernet Sauvignon, Carménère, Malbec, and Syrah varieties, which appear in the world’s most prestigious rankings. Tour Double Icono at Montes then Clos de Luz Tour and country lunch.

Afterwards, we will continue in our private transfer to the notorious VIK Chile. The 22 suites with floor-to-ceiling windows will allow you to take advantage of the panoramic views of the vineyards. The infinity pool extends out over the valleys and lake below, offering the sensation of swimming above the vineyards.

Day 9: March 25, 2027
Hotel Retreat

Enjoy all your meals and activities at the hotel. Explore the grounds, swim, drink, relax, repeat… Enjoy your last day here however you please.

Day 10: March 26, 2027
Flight Home From Santiago

After we check out and enjoy breakfast, we will have one last outing before heading to the airport. Enjoy the last tour, lunch, and experience between rivers at Maquis.

Then, sadly, we will head to the Santiago airport and arrive by 7pm for your red eye flight home. Please don’t book flights before 10pm.

If you want to fly out on the 27th and stay overnight at the Holiday Inn Santiago airport, you can add this on.
