Day 1 – June 5, 2026
Welcome to Bordeaux!

Upon arrival at the Bordeaux Airport or Train Station, your private driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel, located in the heart of Bordeaux. After check-in, take some time to unwind and settle in.

In the evening, gather for a private welcome dinner at Le 1544, a stylish bistronomic restaurant in Bordeaux’s main square.  Enjoy a deliciously prepared three-course meal paired with two glasses of wine.

 

Day 2 – June 6, 2026
Saint Émilion Wine Tour & Tastings

Meet your driver and guide at the hotel and head by luxury coach to the renowned wine region of Saint-Émilion.  Begin with a private visit to Château de Ferrand, a 17th-century Grand Cru Classé estate, for a tour, tasting, and hands-on wine blending workshop, followed by a private lunch in the orangery.

After lunch, explore the charming medieval village of Saint-Émilion, a UNESCO World Heritage site, including its impressive underground monuments.

In the afternoon, visit the modern Château George 7, where owner Sally Evans will guide you through a tasting of her wines, accompanied by local pastries and her signature apéro.

Return to Bordeaux in the evening.  Dinner on your own.

 

Day 3 – June 7, 2026
Bordeaux Discovery

Enjoy a guided walking tour of Bordeaux, a UNESCO world heritage site known for its elegant 18th-century architecture and revitalized riverfront.  Highlights include Palais de la Bourse, the Grand Theatre, and the Golden Triangle.

Stop for a casual riverside lunch featuring local charcuterie, cheese, and regional specialities followed by free time to explore Cité du Vin, Bordeaux’s iconic wine museum.  In the afternoon, take part in a unique 360°  Bordeaux wine tasting experience, sampling four styles in a multi sensory, immersive setting.

In the evening, step aboard a private cocktail dinner cruise along the Garonne River.   Enjoy a locally inspired menu while taking in the illuminated bridges and historic waterfront.  Upon returning to the dock, take a tram back to your hotel—ticket included.

 

Day 4 – June 8, 2026
Médoc Wine Region: Iconic Châteaux & Tastings

Meet your driver and guide for a full-day exploration of the legendary Médoc wine region, home to some of Bordeaux’s most prestigious estates.  Travel along France’s famous Route des Château, lined with endless vineyards and world-renowned names like Latour, Lafite, and Mouton Rothschild.

Enjoy a private tour and tasting at Château Lynch-Bages, a historic estate recently renovated with cutting-edge facilities that honor its 18th-century heritage.  Then, continue to the magnificent Château Beychevelle, often called the “Versailles of the Médoc,” for a guided visit and a three-course lunch with champagne and wine.

Return to your hotel by private transfer.  Dinner at your leisure.

 

Day 5 – June 9, 2026
Pessac Léognan by Bike & Farewell Dinner

Travel to the historic Pessac-Léognan region, the oldest Bordeaux wine-producing area, known for exceptional red and dry white wines.  Begin with a visit and tasting at the ancient Château Carbonnieux, where wine has been produced since the 13th-century—famously visited by Thomas Jefferson in 1786.

Next, enjoy a guided bike tour through the vineyards, departing from Carbonnieux.  With a local wine expert, pedal quietly through scenic landscapes, stop for tastings, and learn to identify grape varietals along the way.

Midday, arrive at Château Haut-Bailly for a private picnic lunch with wine.  This premier cru estate is renowned for its rich history and commitment to excellence in winemaking.

In the evening, celebrate your journey with a private farewell dinner at Château Smith Haut Lafitte, a prestigious estate combining traditional methods with modern innovation.  Enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at the barrel-making cooperage, modern art collection, and cellar.  We will make every effort to have owner Daniel Cathiard join you for this memorable final evening.
