Transfers from Paris to Reims & Return

Reims is less than an hour train trip from Paris’ Charles de Gaulle airport, so we ask that all travelers use Paris CDG as their arrival and departure point for this trip.

Included in the price of the trip is a VIP transfer from the airport to the train platform and first class train ticket. Upon arrival in Reims, a driver will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel

Travelers should plan their arrival into CDG as follows:

Option 1:   Flight arrival by 9:30 am to take 1st train:

-11:22 AM departing from CDG Airport Paris Roissy

-11:52 AM arriving in Champagne-Ardenne train station

Option 2:   Flight arrival by 1:00pm to take 2nd train:

-3:01 PM departing from CDG Airport Paris Roissy

-3:58 PM arriving in Champagne-Ardenne train station

For travelers who plan to spend time in Paris (or elsewhere) before the start of this trip, we ask that you notify us in advance which train option you prefer and plan to arrive at CDG  (specific location to be provided) in time to join the group.

For the return from Reims at the conclusion of the trip, we will reverse this process.  We will provide transportation to get to the Champagne-Ardenne train station to CDG for your flight home.

When booking flights, allow at least 2-3 hours from arrival at CDG until your flight time.

Arrival Day in Paris

Bonjour! Welcome, to France!

A VIP hostess will be waiting to escort you through immigration/passport control, baggage claim, and to your designated train platform. Here you will take the direct train from CDG Airport in Paris to Champagne. (See additional information under Trip Description.)

Upon arrival, your driver will pick you up from the train station and take you to your hotel. 5 Star Hotel La Caserne Chanzy, your home for the duration of the trip.

In the evening, a cocktail and light welcomedinner will be served at your hotel, where you will taste local champagne and wine.

Day 2 – October 14
Reims

Embark on a captivating journey through the heart of Champagne, starting with a scenic drive along the Champagne Scenic Road. Marvel at the UNESCO-listed hillside vineyards of Montagne de Reims, discovering Premier Cru and Grand Cru villages along the way. Immerse yourself in the winemaking process with a private visit to the domain of a Tresor de Champagne member, where you’ll taste various cuvées and appreciate the region’s viticultural treasure: the grapes.

Indulge in a delightful 3-course menu with drinks at a restaurant in Reims before delving into the secrets of Champagne Lanson during a cellar tour and tasting. Explore the enchanting Clos Lanson and the wooden cellar, gaining insights into the artistry behind this Major Champagne House. Conclude your day with a unique visit to Atelier Simon-Marq, a seventeenth-century stained-glass master studio in Reims. Learn about this ancestral tradition during a private visit, followed by a Champagne tasting that demonstrates the unique effects of oak aging compared to stainless steel. After this immersive experience, savor an authentic and delightful three-course lunch at a charming restaurant in Reims.
